Treeosix Adventure Parks, Saskatchewan’s bona fide pioneer of guided eco-friendly zip line tours, is looking to fill several Zip Line Guide positions for the upcoming season in the trees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of the zip line tours and other basecamp activities, the safety of our guests, and assisting with any and all events that may result during the day to day operation of the business.

This job requires strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding forested outdoor environment on a daily basis. No previous experience as a zip line guide required.

Duties:

  • To ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff at all locations

  • To be able to perform any and all department duties once training is complete.
  • Required to interact with Site Managers and Lead guides to complete gear logs and maintenance reports
  • Adhere to the rules and regulations outlined in the Treeosix Employee Handbook, Guide Training Manual, and Occupational Health & Safety program
  • Be an active promoter of Treeosix in the community and on your personal social media channels.
  • Perform other tasks and duties asked of you by your manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience (personal or professional) with regards to responsibility, attention to detail, and safety
  • Capable of physically demanding work with a passion to work outdoors in the summer regardless of weather conditions
  • Comfortable at heights and not prone to motion sickness
  • Average or above average level of aerobic fitness, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility.

Non-Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous outdoor leadership / experiential tourism / hospitality experience is an asset
  • Previous experience in a customer service position is an asset
  • Knowledge of Treeosix Adventure Parks operations is an asset
  • Being currently enrolled in university / college is an asset

Work AND enjoy your summer.

We understand the importance of work as well as play. As such, our summer schedule is unique to many of the other tourism businesses. Rather than being open 7 days a week (which is insane), we are open Tuesday through Saturday (and Sundays only on Long Weekends). We run this schedule consistently all summer long so that you can plan for your days off to maximize your enjoyment and time with friends/family!

Develop transferable skills you will take with you for a lifetime.

From nursing, to education, to social work, to engineering, to tourism and outdoor leadership, our first time zip line guides tend to be college/university students, who are looking for a job that will free their minds from the books for a summer. Regardless of your concentration as a student, this job will provide you with skills that are applicable to any career.

This is a seasonal, full time position. Season runs from May through September.

Treeosix offers industry competitive compensation in a great working environment. We look forward to hearing from all qualified applicants. We thank all applicants for their interest in Treeosix Adventure Parks, however only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.

For the past 12 seasons, we’ve been very fortunate to have received so many great applicants wanting to spend a summer flying through the trees with us in the forests of Saskatchewan.

We accept applications until all positions are filled, however, early applications are encouraged as we typically fill all available positions by mid-March each year!

How to Apply

Please email your resume to work@treeosix.com.
Once we receive your resume, we will send back a Pre-Interview Questionnaire for you to complete prior to scheduling an interview. Interviews for all positions begin in February, as this gives our past guide crew an opportunity until the end of January to keep their spot for the upcoming season!

That’s it, that’s all there is to it! Best of luck!
