What a time to be alive.

I’m likely not alone when I say, never for a moment would I have predicted that a global crisis would arrive this spring and have this type of far reaching effect on the province of Saskatchewan and all the businesses who are a part of it.

As the situation surrounding COVID-19 continues to evolve, we support the province wide state of emergency and will remain temporarily closed to the public until given the A-OK to open up our doors in the forest once again.

Anyone who has visited one of our sites in the past would know that our number one priority is (and always has been) to ensure the safety and well-being of our team members and our guests. As such, in the event that we are able to move forward this spring, we want to assure you that it will be with an abundance of caution with regards to ALL aspects of our operation.

At this time, we hope that we are able to open by early May, as we do each year. However, we will be following the recommendations of the Government of Saskatchewan and the advice of the Saskatchewan Health Authority in making the decision with regards to that. Our website will be updated with the latest availability for all of our activities as we get nearer to the season.

In the meantime, we are updating our standard operating procedures and policies with regards to ALL of our outdoor activities. If we are able to open this season, we want to ensure social distancing guidelines can be achieved at our sites and we want our policies to reflect the new operating environment. We are committed to making any and all additional changes that the evolving situation calls for and will move quickly and efficiently in our response.

As a community, we will all get through this together. And as always, you have our commitment to provide a clean and safe environment for outdoor adventures in Saskatchewan this summer (fingers crossed) and beyond. We wish you and your family a safe and healthy week ahead.

Please wash your friggin’ hands.
