A slackline is a length of nylon webbing tensioned between two anchor points. You can stand, walk, bounce, kneel and perform tricks on the two-inch wide line.
It is different from tightrope walking as the line is dynamic, stretching and bouncing like a long and narrow trampoline. The line itself is flat due to the nature of the webbing, thus keeping the slacker’s footing from rolling off as it would with an ordinary rope.
